Ghana are in Pot Two for the draw of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2027 qualifiers today, May 19, 2026.

Also in Pot Two are Cape Verde, Guinea, Gabon, Uganda, Benin and Angola.

The rest are Zambia, Mozambique, Madagascar, Equatorial Guinea and the Comoros Islands.

The Black Stars could face Morocco, Senegal or Nigeria who are all in Pot One.

Other Pot One teams are Algeria, Egypt, the Ivory Coast, Cameroon and Tunisia.

DR Congo, Mali, South Africa and Burkina Faso, completes the teams in Pot One.

Ghana could also land in the same group as hosts Kenya or Tanzania, where only one qualification spot will be available for the other teams in the group.

In Pot Three for the qualifying draw are Kenya, Libya, Tanzania, Niger and Mauritania.

The Gambia, Sudan, Sierra Leone, Namibia, Togo, Malawi and Rwanda, are the other nations in the port.

Pot four teams are Zimbabwe, Guinea-Bissau, Congo, the Central African Republic, Liberia, Burundi, Ethiopia, Lesotho, Botswana, South Sudan, Eritrea and Somalia.

The draw will be held in Cairo, Egypt today with 48 teams in the pool who will be divided into 12 groups of four teams each.

The AFCON 2027 tournament will be hosted by Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda and it has been dubbed "AFCON PAMOJA 2027".
