Ghana defender Alexander Djiku won the Russian Cup with Spartak Moscow on Sunday in a closely fought affair.
Spartak, won 4-3 via penalty shootout following a 1-1 drawn game with Krasnodar at full time.
Djiku started the game but was substituted in the 44th minute due to a minor injury.
He is however expected to make a quick recovery ahead of Ghana's preparations for the Mundial.
Djiku, is a mainstay in the Black Stars defence, as he played a key role in seeing Ghana quality for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Ghana are in Group L alongside Panama, Croatia and England at the World Cup coming up in Canada, Mexico and the United States in June and July.
