Director General of the National Sports Authority (NSA) Yaw Ampofo Ankrah is expected to launch the 2026 Tampico Accra Inter-City Marathon on Tuesday in the Ghanaian capital.
The event is scheduled for the Zimansky Hotel, Roman Ridge where further details of the upcoming marathon would be revealed.
Henri Senyo Penni, General Manager of Medivents Consult, organisers of the race announced this on Monday, ahead of the launch.
Other dignitaries expected to grace the occasion are; the Chief Director of the Greater Accra Regional Coordinating Council, Directors of Sports of the various security agencies, former champions and sponsors.
The Tampico Accra Inter-City Marathon, will be held on Saturday, October 10, starting and ending at the Trust Sports Emprium, (Bukom Boxing Arena), Accra.
Persons wanting to participate in this mass race, can dial *320*21# and pay a registration fee of GH¢100 to register for 21-kilometers and 5-kilometer category.
