The Accra Regional Police Command has reportedly foiled a planned robbery attack at a Shell Filling Station at Agbogbloshie, around Galloway.

According to reports, police got a wink about four men sitting on motorbikes, who were about to allegedly carry out the attack.

A gun battle is said to have occurred between the police and the suspected armed men.

One of the suspects lost his life in the process, while the other three managed to escape.

The police recovered an AK-47 rifle with 186 rounds of ammunition, after the three other robbers fled the scene leaving behind two royal motorbikes.
