Macron Stresses Non-Involvement.

French President Emmanuel Macron made it clear during a visit to South Korea that France does not support the United States’ criticism regarding the lack of assistance on Iran. He emphasized that the situation was an initiative taken by the US and Israel, which France had not committed to participating in.

They (the US and Israel) can afterwards complain that they are not being helped in this operation they decided on their own, it is not our operation," Macron stated, standing firm on France’s position.

Military Action in Strait of Hormuz Deemed "Unrealistic"

President Macron further expressed skepticism about the feasibility of a military operation aimed at "liberating" the Strait of Hormuz. According to Macron, such an endeavor would not be practical and could lead to unnecessary complications. His comments highlight the complexities and potential risks involved in military actions in such a strategically vital area.

Macron's Response to Personal Remarks.

In addition to addressing geopolitical issues, President Macron responded to remarks made by former US President Donald Trump regarding his marriage. Macron described the comments as "neither elegant nor up to standard," choosing to maintain his composure and avoid further escalation by stating, “I will not respond; it does not deserve a reply.” This underscores Macron’s focus on maintaining diplomatic decorum.

Overall, Macron's statements reflect France’s independent stance on international military operations and a commitment to diplomatic engagement over personal disputes.
