An Accra Circuit Court has remanded Pastor Hammond Love into custody over allegations of car theft.

The 54-year-old pastor is accused of stealing a Honda Civic valued at about GH¢180,000 and allegedly forging documents connected to the vehicle. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

According to details presented in court, the case stems from a 2025 transaction in which a businessman was reportedly convinced to enter a vehicle exchange deal involving a Honda Civic, cash, and a promised Range Rover. The arrangement is said to have turned fraudulent, leading to the disappearance of the vehicle.

Prosecutors further indicated that the vehicle was allegedly sold using forged documents, while efforts to resolve the matter outside court were unsuccessful.

The court has ordered that Pastor Love remain in custody for two weeks as investigations continue and proceedings move forward.

The case has attracted public interest, with many awaiting the next hearing for further developments.
