Chinese national Zheng Xiangming, Chairman of Greenhouse International Development Group Ghana Limited, has been enstooled as Hiowe Golaka Noryam Matse Nene Asumahtsu I, marking a significant recognition of his relationship with the local community.
Zheng Xiangming is the chairman of Greenhouse International Development Group Ghana Limited, a Chinese-owned industrial company involved in development projects in Ghana.
The company has partnered with institutions including Access Bank Ghana in projects at the Bright International Industrial Hub at Afienya.
His enstoolment reflects the growing ties between Ghanaian traditional communities and foreign investors who have contributed to local development and economic activities.
The new traditional title, Hiowe Golaka Noryam Matse Nene Asumahtsu I, formally places Zheng Xiangming within the traditional leadership structure and recognises his association with the community.
The development is expected to further strengthen cultural, social and economic relations between the Chinese business community and their Ghanaian counterparts.
