Prince Kamaldeen Mohammed on Saturday became the new African Boxing League (ABL) Light Heavyweight Champion after he knocked out his Togolese opponent, Kouku De Souza in the third round at the Abelemkpe School Park in Accra.
This Homowo FightFest saw the amazing return of Daniel Gorsh to winning ways as he stopped his opponent in the second round.
The event witnessed thrills in adaptive boxing, juvenile boxing and female boxing.
Many fans described the event as a success since it was the first time live boxing was taking place at the Abelemkpe School Park.
Nigerian Tunde “Turnistar” Olojede knocked out Razak Nettey in the second round in their contest.
Among the boxers on the bill were Ebenezer Kolebe, Jacob Dickson, Jacob Tetteh Laryea who all won their bouts.
Prof. Azumah Nelson and some members of the Ghana Boxing Authority IMC were present to encourage and motivate the young boxers.
