Asantehene gives Nana Ayim Kumnipa III authority over Gyadam ‎ ‎

Nana Ayim Kumnipa III has officially been installed as Gyadamhene and now has authority over the Gyadam Traditional Area as Paramount Chief.

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, granted him the authority on May 25, 2026, after accepting his plea to swear the Great Oath.

Nana Ayim Kumnipa III subsequently took the Oath.

Ahead of taking the Oath, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II told the Asanteman Council that the appointment was in the best interest of Asanteman.
