Police Inspector arrested in Kumasi linked to recent mobile money robberies

Police Inspector Bright Appiah Danquah has been arrested in Kumasi over alleged armed robberies targeting mobile money vendors.

He reportedly made a mistake after forgetting his phone at one of the robbery scenes that has now led to his arrest.

Later, he went to a Police Station to report that his phone had been stolen, only for investigations to link him to several similar robbery cases across the city.

Inspector Appiah Danquah, will be taken through through the court system after he has been charged.

He faces a lengthy term in jail if he is found guilty of the crimes.
