Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) says it has carried out a missile and drone operation targeting a United States military base in Kuwait, marking another sharp escalation in tensions between Tehran and Washington.

According to Iranian military statements, the attack was launched in response to recent US military actions against Iranian-linked targets in the Gulf region. Iranian officials described the operation as a “warning message” and insisted they are prepared to respond again if further strikes are carried out against Iran.

Authorities in Kuwait confirmed heightened security activity overnight, with air defense systems reportedly activated after aerial threats were detected. However, officials have not yet provided full details regarding possible damage or casualties at the targeted base.

The incident has added to growing concerns over stability in the Middle East, as regional powers and international allies continue to monitor the situation closely. Analysts fear that continued military exchanges between Iran and the United States could increase the risk of a wider conflict across the Gulf.

More updates are expected as both American and Kuwaiti authorities assess the situation and respond to Iran’s claims.
